Etive is the practice of Hamish Gregory, a photographer and designer working across image-making, identity, and visual communication.

Originally trained in product design in Glasgow, his work is grounded in proportion, purpose, and careful attention to detail. The practice is built on carrying projects from initial concept through to final delivery across print, digital, and social platforms.

Living and working within a Benedictine monastery further reinforced the values behind the work: discipline, attentiveness, restraint, and respect for things made carefully and made to last.

Whether documenting a place, refining a brand, or composing an image, the approach remains consistent: clear communication, honest observation, and purposeful design.
